Meet members of the Maui LGBT community and friends at 8:30 a.m. at the Starbucks parking lot at the Queen Kaahumanu Mall, from where hikers will carpool to The Makamakaole Stream, which runs down the north slope of West Maui. The hike got its nickname, “13 Crossings,” because that is the number of times the trail crosses the stream through a bamboo forest before ending at a waterfall.
