LGBT & Friends Hiking Group | Waihe’e Coastal Dunes & Wetlands Refuge Hike (Maui) | December 9, 8:30 a.m.
This is a beautiful unspoiled coastal trail, with interesting archaeological features. It covers about three miles and will take about three hours. We may see whales, turtles, seals, Hawaiian birds and native plants. It’s an easy and scenic hike, but there is no shade so bring a hat, sunscreen, and water, as well as a snack.

Honolulu Marathon 2017 | Ala Moana Boulevard (O’ahu) | December 10, 6 a.m. – 2 p.m.
The Honolulu Marathon is unique in that there is no limit on the number of participants and there’s no cut-off time, so the race attracts both fast runners as well as walkers.The course is the standard marathon distance of 26.2 miles, or 42.195 kilometers, while including spectacular ocean views alongside world-famous Waikiki Beach, and Diamond Head and Koko Head volcanic craters.

Kokua Kailua Sunday in Historic Kailua Village | Ali’i Drive in Kailua Village (Hawai’i Island) | December 10, 1 – 6 p.m.
